Thank you for requesting information on a dealership with Jacoby Custom Cues. We are looking forward to working with you. We hope that our dedication to making the highest quality American-made cues, as well as providing excellent customer service will help you feel secure in your decision to carry our products. The relationship we build with our dealers is valued here. As a family business, we work hard to accommodate your individual needs. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
We offer a wide variety of services at Jacoby Custom Cues, including:

Qualifications to become a Jacoby Custom Cues Dealer:
➢ Completed dealer application
➢ EIN number or seller’s ID number
➢ Qualifying credit score of 670+
➢ Photos of product display area or product shipping area
➢ No active dealer within 100-mile radius without written consent from the existing active dealer
➢ Tier 1 initial purchase
As a Jacoby Custom Cues Dealer, you are obligated to:
➢ Actively purchase products, maintaining your discount level
➢ Promote our products in a professional manner.
➢ Display Jacoby banners in booth or showroom and use marketing material on website and social media outlets
➢ Maintain a recommended inventory of $5,000.00 wholesale value
Account Reviews:
➢ Accounts are reviewed twice yearly, initial review in May and pricing tiers set in the month of September – See Pricing Tiers Chart
➢ New pricing tiers are only set in September of each year
➢ Dormant accounts with no activity for one year are considered void and you MUST repurchase your dealership.
Marketing Materials:
➢ Our website features the active dealers (excluding tier 3) in each state/country. This gives customers a quick and easy way to find you, a local dealer of Jacoby Custom Cues.
➢ We have a dealer-only section on our website. We will occasionally post discounted cues and dealer specials in the dealer section.
➢ Banners are available for display in your showroom.
➢ Clip art, marketing fliers, and videos available for download and use on jacobycustomcues.com
➢ Special marketing pieces for your website or social media use can be requested.
MAP/MSP Policy:
➢ No advertised discounting beyond full price on newly released products for the first year of product release.
➢ No advertised discounts beyond 10% on standard products.
➢ No discount beyond 15% on products in a private sale.
➢ 1st Violation of this policy- a written warning will be given
➢ 2nd Violation of this policy- discount level will be revoked
Shipping Policy:
➢ FedEx [2day and ground] is our primary shipping method. We receive standard pricing on FedEx 2 Day Express service in a standard 4X4X36” box, priced at $25.75. We can also ship by USPS and UPS on request.
➢ We may dropship on special request as a special service with detailed customer information, but we are not a drop shipping center and expect dealers to maintain inventory to service their customers. An additional fee of $20.00 + Shipping costs will be added to your order.
Payment Policy:
➢ Orders are to be prepaid before shipment.
➢ Cue orders of $10,000+ requiring in-shop processing, a 20% deposit is required.
➢ We accept the following payment options: Cash, Certified Check, Money Order, PayPal, Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
➢ All dealers added after June 30th, 2023, are ineligible for any net payment options.
➢ Current 30-day net customers that fail to pay within their 30-day net period will receive written notice and then a loss of those terms.
➢ Failure to pay within 45 days of receipt of the product will result in a loss of any terms.
➢ Completed shipments that customers are unable to receive will be held for 30 days, and then placed into our inventory.
➢ Credit card purchases on wholesale products will be assessed with a 3% convenience fee.
➢ Any accounts with past due balances require a payment of 10% on the amount past due before additional pre-paid product is shipped.
➢ Credits on accounts of $100.00 or less expire after 12 months, $101.00 or more expire after 5 years.
Cue Exchange Policy:
➢ We encourage all dealers to exchange cues that have been on the shelf for at least 6 months. This benefits you as a dealer by allowing the opportunity to bring in a new selection that may better fit the preferences of your customers.
Custom Order Policy:
➢ A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to begin a custom build.
➢ Lead times on custom builds can vary. Due to many factors, our lead times are NOT guaranteed. If a customer is not prepared to wait the time to complete the project, please select a cue from our inventory.
➢ Cue designs with a price quote will be signed and dated by the customer for approval before work is started.
➢ A 100% non-refundable deposit will be required for all custom cues with special markings, engravings, inlays, colors, shaft specifications or other characteristics varying from traditional market standards. These cues cannot be returned or exchanged.
➢ Changes made after the original drawing has been approved by the customer (signed and dated drawing) will be charged $25 plus the cost of the change.
➢ We will guarantee the use of quality materials and craftsmanship.
➢ We cannot guarantee exact colors of wood grains, inlays, materials, stains, etc. since materials vary and colors are perceived differently by each individual person.
➢ Any cue not paid for 30 days after notification of completion will be sold and the 20% deposit will be forfeited.
Freestyle Reorder Policy:
➢ We offer many custom cues on our website and social medial platforms that are considered a “Freestyle Cue”. Freestyle cues are not in any line. They are made with unique materials or have unique designs. They may not be available for reorder.
➢ Standard tiered discounts apply for in-stock freestyle cues.
➢ To reproduce a Freestyle Cue, a three-cue minimum order of that cue is required in order to receive standard tiered pricing. A five-cue minimum order of that cue is required to receive any distribution tier pricing.
➢ Less than a three quantity orders on Freestyle Cues will be discounted as a custom item.
Raffle and Event sponsorship:
➢ An additional 10% discount can be received with approval for cues used as raffle items at large events or used for a tournament sponsorships
Tradeshow Policy:
➢ Dealers are able to purchase inventory for personal stock at tradeshows. We prefer it to be selected on the final day of the show whenever possible. It is no longer allowed for dealers to sell directly to customers at tradeshows or events
Warranty:
➢ We want to make you and your customer secure in your purchase. Our warranty covers defects that are due to materials or craftsmanship.
IF JACOBY CUSTOM CUES DEALERSHIP OBLIGATIONS ARE NOT UPHELD, IT IS A DIRECT VIOLATION OF JACOBY CUSTOM CUES DEALER POLICY AND WILL BE GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION.
Custom Item Classification Guideline
Shaft orders:
➢ Special ferrules (material, lengths)
➢ Joint diameters other than what is standard to the joint thread
➢ Special ring pattern
➢ Threads that are not standard (not available on our website)
➢ Shaft special material request
➢ Special taper request
Extension orders:
➢ Length other than 4” or 8” on butt extensions, and 4” and 6” on joint extensions
➢ Materials other than maple
➢ Inlay additions
➢ Ring pattern additions
➢ Special stain requests
➢ Threads that are not standard (not available on our website)
Cue orders:
➢ Special ring pattern requests
➢ New inlay patterns
➢ Material changes from standard
➢ Handle diameter changes
