This unique shaft gives you increased stability, improved resonance and tone, and a beautiful appearance. The shaft playability is often compared to that of old-growth maple. The shaft is specially treated using a specialized curing and drying process that alters the characteristics of the maple giving it its unique caramel color and sweet smell while also removing any moisture and sugars making it lighter and more warp resistant. The shaft is extremely smooth and chalk resistant. This shaft is a playing shaft only, they are not intended to be used as a break shaft.

The shaft is constructed from 140 pieces of rotary cut veneer. The veneer is laminated and radially spliced giving the shaft superior quality and playability.

Our maple shafts often come with our break cues as well as our introductory cue lines are created using the finest, hand-selected hard rock maple. Like all of the Jacoby wood shafts, each shaft undergoes our specialized "seasoning" process, ensuring a consistently straight, smooth shaft that's extremely resistant to warpage. This "seasoning" process involves turning each shaft down in small increments over the course of several months. All Jacoby Maple Playing shafts come standard as 13mm (+.2mm -.1mm). Custom sizes may be ordered for a standard upcharge.

Make your jump shot feared by your competition! This jump cue gives you the largest range of jump shots on the table. The extension handle is removed for extremely close jump shots and added for longer jump shots. The extension handle has a series of groves for finger placement when using a traditional stroke allowing for a light loose grip. The forearm is designed with two cleverly placed finger grooves to assist in finger placement when using the dart technique. It comes in two weighted versions. The heavier version is great if you primarily use a dart stroke to jump, but use a traditional stroke only on really long jump shots The lighter version is great if you use a traditional stroke only when jumping.

This powerful break cue excels when superior control on the break is desired. Unlike the original Black Out, the Straight Breaker is designed with a one-piece butt. It has our Horo break tip and ferule combination, giving a player added control while breaking. The Horo tip holds chalk well and allows a player to use some English with less risk of a miscue. This cue works especially well when using a second-ball break in 8-ball.
The Black Out Straight Breaker works well as a full-cue jump cue, as well. The Horo tip allows English to be applied on the jump shot giving the shot accuracy and cue ball control. -

The Heritage L1 Cue is crafted with Spalted Maple and Zircote. It contains twelve accent rings and thirty-two hand-placed inlays. The forearm and butt sleeve are made from impregnated Spalted Maple. The distinct black lines in the maple show the tree's decaying process while giving each piece of wood its own unique identity. Zircote makes up the wrap section of this cue. The spider web-like grain gives this rare Southern Mexican wood its distinct appearance. There are eight Abalone circles, sixteen small pieces of Jewelers Bronze, and eight White Juma diamonds inlaid in the ring patterns. Abalone is primarily found in the Indian Ocean off the Coast of South Africa in a clam-like shell. This cue is complete with a radial pin and a 12.75MM Ultra Pro Shaft.

The HB1 Cue is composed of Birdseye Maple and Mediterranean Olivewood with Cocobolo Index Rings. Birdseye Maple Makes up the forearm and butt sleeve of this cue. Birdseye Maple is one of the rarest woods in the world, only making up one percent of the maplewoods. It is found primarily in Eastern USA and regions of Canada. Mediterranean Olivewood beautifies the wrap section. The golden caramel swirls give this species of wood its shockingly warm appearance. The HB1 is embellished with cocobolo index rings and defining each section of the cue. Completing this cue is a Radial Pin and 12.75 MM Ultra Pro Shaft.
